As you'll notice, dates for many July 2024 events shown below are still "TBA" (to be announced). Also, some new events are currently in the planning stages, so I haven't listed them yet.

Free Movies at the Orpheum

Doors to the theater open at 9 a.m. The show starts at 9:30 a.m.
Tickets are free, available at the box office the morning of the show. Seating is first come, first served.
Yarmouth Sand Sculpture Trail
When: Daily in July, 2024
Where: 32 locations around the town of Yarmouth, MA

This year, you'll find Sean's creative, amusing and totally family friendly sand sculptures in more than 30 locations around the town of Yarmouth.
Cape Cod Baseball League
When: Evenings throughout the month of July
Where: 10 different locations Cape-wide

The country's best collegiate baseball players are back on Cape Cod for another season of top-notch baseball. (The MLB scouts are here, too, looking for Major League superstars-in-the-making!)
Head to a ball field in one of 10 towns across the Cape, and you'll soon see why Cape League games are high on everyone's list of fun things to do on Cape Cod on a summer evening!
Stony Brook Grist Mill & Museum Open House
When: Saturdays in July 2024, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: Stony Brook Grist Mill & Museum, 830 Stony Brook Road, Brewster, MA

Here's your chance to see this fully restored, 19th century gristmill in action!
Watch as the miller grinds kernels of corn into cornmeal the old fashioned way. Buy a bag of freshly ground organic cornmeal. Visit the museum upstairs where you'll learn about the history of Stony Brook Village and see weaving demonstrations on the antique "barnloom". Then spend some time exploring the scenic footpaths on Stony Brook's grounds.
If you're in Brewster or nearby, "Saturdays at Stony Brook" is a don't-miss event (in my humble opinion)!
Falmouth Art Market

Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Powwow

This colorful annualeventdraws Native Americans, locals, and visitors from all parts of the globe for a celebration ofMashpee Wampanoag tribal culture.
Three days of solemn, spiritual,and festive events include traditional ceremonies, tribaldrumming,dance performances, Native American handcrafts and cuisine,and musical performances by the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers.
One of the most breathtaking scenes of the Powwow isthe "Fireball Game". Similar tosoccer, but played with a fire-lit ball that's kicked and carried,the game honors the sick and those who have passed onby remembering their pain.

Of all events on Cape Cod in July, our spectacular fireworks displays stand alone asthe #1 favorite with locals andvisitors. In fact, folks from near and far have told me they always plan their vacation so they'll be here for the gala fireworks displays.
Seeing the big boomers going off over the water is an absolutely breathtaking sight! Be here if you can!
Mess Fest!

Mess Fest is a celebration of all things MESSY!Come splatter, squish, muck, paint, swish and swirl. This specialinteractive program features an array of splashy, messy outdooractivities for visitors.
Mess Fest is held outside, rain or shine. Wear old clothes to be a Mess Fest-er!

Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival Garden Tours
When: July 5 - 14, 2024
Where: Gardens all around the Cape

This popular annual event celebrates the Cape's "signature" bloomer: the Hydrangea.
By far, the highlight of Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival is touring fabulous private gardens, awash with breathtaking hydrangeas and other colorful flowers in full bloom!
The tour includes 70+ gardens, each with its own unique layout and "vibe". A variety of gardens are open to visitors each day during this 10-day event. Enjoy!!
Brewster Conservation Day (Week!)
When: July 13, 2024; more events all week
Where: Drummer Boy Park, Route 6A, Brewster, MA and other locations
Admission: Most events are free.

"Cape Cod Rollout" with Cape Cod Roller Derby

Come one, come all, to Cape Cod Roller Derby and Cape Cod Junior Roller Derby's annual Cape Cod Roll Out!!
Bring your skates, your scooters, your bikes, yourunicycles, your wheelchairs - whatever wheels you have - and roll out together to celebratemovement on wheels.
A 1 mile, 5K and 5 mile out-and-back have been planned. Or feel free to shorten or lengthen as you wish.
The first 25 to register receive a roll out goodie bag. All ages and all abilities are welcome!

Barnstable County Fair

Put on your fun duds and mosey on out to the Barnstable County Fair. For over 170 years, the Fair has been a highlight of summeronCape Cod.
The Fair's attractions include animal shows, monster trucks, carnival rides, demolition derby, petting zoos, horticulture displays, games, live music, arts & crafts, and lots of food and vendors. It'sa full weekoffun for the whole family!
Family Week in Provincetown
When: July 27 - August 3, 2024

Family Week is the largest national gathering of the LGBTQ-headed family community in the United States. Parents, their children, their extended families, prospective parents and friends gather in Provincetown for a fun-filled week of events including beach bashes, outdoor movies, whale watching, teen gatherings, and lots more.
Family Fishing Night at the Canal

Brought to us by MA Division of Marine Fisheries in conjunction with the US Army Corps of Engineers, this family friendly event welcomes all to a free fishing clinic on the shores of the Cape Cod Canal.
Fishing rods, bait, instruction will be provided for anglers under the age of 16.
Pre-registration isn't required. But there will only be a limited number of rods available to borrow. So get there early to avoid disappointment!
Stony Brook Gristmill's Indian Pudding Party

Here's your chance to sample the traditional dessert enjoyed by our Yankee ancestors. Volunteer cooks make Indian pudding using Stony Brook Gristmill's fresh, stone-ground cornmeal, milk, eggs and molasses. Then they top it with a dollop of fresh whipped cream. Yummy!
Serving starts at 10 am and continues until all the Indian Pudding has been gobbled up.
*Note: While you're there, buy a bag or two of freshly ground, organic corn meal for your winter cooking. (It keeps well in the freezer!) And be sure to explore the museum upstairs and enjoy the scenic footpaths beside Stony Brook.
Brewster Summer Arts & Crafts Festival
