Yarmouth Sand Sculpture Trail

Follow the Sand Sculpture Trail to see the mind-blowing work of nationally renowned artist and sculptor, Sean Fitzpatrick!
This year, you'll find Sean's creative, amusing and totally family friendly sand sculptures in more than 30 locations around the town of Yarmouth.
Sean begins creating his works of art in mid-May, and the last sculpture is usually in place by mid-June. If you're lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, you might get to see Sean at work.
Full Moon Beach Campfire

Enjoysunset on the beach and folklore and games around thecampfire. Bring a beach chair or towel to sit on. Meet the rangers onthe beach in front of the large bathhouse and concession area, justsouth of the beach entrance at Herring Cove Beach.

Provincetown Pride Celebration
When: May 31 - June 2, 2024
Where: Multiple venues around Provincetown

This year's Provincetown Pride weekend brings locals and visitors together for a celebration of what the town has long been known for: LGBTQ+ awareness, empowerment, and diversity.
The weekend isjam-packed with a wide range of special events, parties, and Pride programmingfor everyone to enjoy.

Against the Tide on Cape Cod

Join MA BreastCancer Coalition (MBCC) on the beach to swim, run, or walk to supportbreast cancer prevention!
This is the 25th anniversary Against the Tide on Cape Cod, a majorfundraising event. Events include USMS-Sanctioned 1-mile swim, 1-milerecreational and competitive swims, ½-mile recreational swim,USATF-Certified 5K and 10K runs, and a 3-mile fitness walk.
The funds raised through this event help to support and expand MBCC's community education program "Let’s Talk Prevention: Reducing ToxicExposures", MBCC Webinar Series, and the newly-expanded studentenvironmental health program, "Let’s Talk Prevention: Actions You CanTake."
Against the Tideis family-friendly and can be enjoyed by adults and children of allages and abilities.
Arts Alive Festival

This gala event celebrates the arts in Falmouth and on the Upper Cape.
Festival events include days and evenings filled with music, theater, dance performances, artist and crafter exhibits and sale, food and drink, and plenty of activities for the kids.
Cape Cod Baseball League - Opening Day

This weekend is a fabulous opportunity to explore the rich history of the town of Chatham!
Museum visits, nature walks, lectures and book signings, Godfrey windmill with its sails up and grinding corn (wind and weather permitting, of course!) ... those are just a few of the many fun and fascinating things to see and do during Chatham History Weekend.
Outermost Contra Dance
When: June 21, 2024, 6:30 p.m.

Put on your dancin' shoes for this fun event at Preservation Hall!
Contra dancing is the older cousin to the square dance. No fancy footwork is needed – if you can walk, you can contra dance!
All the dances are taught and called. If you're new to contra dance, be sure to get in on the early dances to learn the basic moves. (No need to bring a partner; there are plenty of friendly people in this welcoming dance community.)
Come to dance or come just to watch and listen to the music. All are welcome!
Campfires at Nauset Light Beach

Beach campfires are the quintessential family activity on a Cape Cod summer evening!
These Friday gatherings, hosted by the National Seashore rangers, are a fun time of songs, games and stories by the sea.
*Tip: Be sure to bring your own chairs beach blanket, a flashlight, and some insect repellent!
Taylor-Bray Farm's Spring Sheep Festival

Here's your chance to see how wool goes from the sheep to the sweater!
At historic Taylor-Bray Farm's annual Sheep Festival, visitors are treated to demonstrations of the ages-old arts of sheep herding, sheep shearing, wool spinning, blacksmithing, and open-hearth cooking.
On the grounds of the 22-acre farm, you'll also meet the resident donkeys, sheep, Scottish Highland cattle and other farm animals - with petting areas for up-close visits. Haywagon rides and refreshments round out the day.
Please ... human visitors only, no dogs!
Nye Museum Open House Celebration

The NyeMuseum re-opens for the season with their annual Open House Celebration. Throughout the day, costumed guides will be stationed around the property ready to greetvisitors and tell stories of the Nye family and their place in East Sandwich history.
The historic1678 homestead will be open for guided tours, along with the 2023 special exhibit, Honoring Women of the NyeHomestead. The grist mill will also be open to visitors, featuring a slideshow about its recent restoration.
Be sure to wear your walking shoes! They'll come in handy as you stroll around the beautiful museum campus, explore the hiking trails, and see the old fish hatchery.
There'll be kid-friendly activities, too, making this a great event for visitors of all ages!
Fathers' Day Car Show
When: June 16, 2024, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Main Street, Hyannis

Every year on Fathers' Day, the Main Street of Hyannis is lined with hundreds of shiny autos of all kinds - plus an arts and crafts fair, food vendors, music at the bandstand, and the multitude of sights, sounds and tastes that downtown Hyannis and the Harbor area are noted for.
Although it's dedicated to Dadson theirspecial weekend, this antique and collector car extravaganza is a popular event with moms, kids and other family members, too!
Cape Cod Quahog Day

Why do I refer to Doug as a "seer"? Because this marvelous mollusk has talents that amaze ... the ability to predict how many weeks of great beach weather lie ahead for Cape Cod.
Come meet Doug, learn his prediction, and enjoy the festivities!
Mashpee Community Picnic & Fireworks Display

Where: Mashpee High School, 500 Old Barnstable Road, Mashpee, MA

Mashpee's annual Community Picnic is an evening of fun and games for the whole family.
The highlight of this event is the big fireworks display, set to begin around dusk.

Harwich 5K Road Race & Walk

Grab your running shoes and get ready to race or walk for a good cause, localfitness programs for kids.
Originally begun by a small group of fitness-minded moms, this 5K now draws hundreds of racers of all ages for a runalong a flat, scenic route through the village of Harwichport.
The professionally timed event is followed byan after-party celebration and awards for the top finishers.
Stony Brook Grist Mill & Museum - Opening Day

Celebratethe start of the 2024 season at Stony Brook Village!
From opening day until late August, the Grist Mill and Museum at Stony Brook will be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Here's your opportunity to watch as corn is ground into cornmeal the old fashioned way: by water-powered grist mill.
See themill in action, purchase stone ground organic (gluten free) cornmeal,explore the museum upstairs, watch weaving demonstrations on the barnloom, and explore the scenic footpaths beside Stony Brook.
If you're in Brewster or nearby, this is a don't-miss event (in my humble opinion)!
Hounds of Highfield

Calling all doggies: This one's for you - and your human companions, too!
This popular, family friendly event at Highfield Hall & Gardens brings pups and their people together for dog contests, a doggie parade and costume contest, an obstacle course,service dog demonstrations, raffles, prizes, and much more!
Local rescuegroups, crafts vendors, and delicious food trucks will be on site, too.
Provincetown Portuguese Festival & Blessing of the Fleet

Provincetown's deep Portuguese heritage is celebrated every year in June.
This popular annual event is jam-packed with food, games, live music, dancing, and parades. The weekend is capped off with the traditional "Blessing of The Fleet" where boats of all sizes line up to receive the blessing for a safe and prosperous season.
