Story

DOB 5/11/22 - Denali is an active, curious, smart and playful cat looking for a home where she can take her time adapting to her new people and surroundings. She loves playing with other cats and the ideal home for her would have another playful young cat or possibly a dog (she did see a dog in foster care, but was not exposed directly to dogs in foster). She isn't too interested in being pet by humans yet, and will swat with claws if you touch her when she doesn't want to be touched. She isn't a hider and you will see her out and about nearby, but she definitely isn't a lap cat. She has potential for warming up to getting attention from people more when she is comfortable, but will definitely take time. Loves to play with the laser light and wand toys. Loves wet food. Can be a talker. Denali22 needs to be adopted with Alpine22 - they comfort each other.

Story

Tosh is a sweet and spicy girl, who wants and deserves to live like a princess. She was rescued from a hoarding house. After years of neglect all she wants is to be to be loved and to have her people all to herself, can you blame her?! She currently lives in a home with another cat and dog, but does not get along the best with them. It’s possible she might adjust to a younger outgoing and playful cat, but it would have to be the right situation. She came very shut down and it’s been so fun to watch her grow and learn how a spoiled kitty is supposed to live. She LOVES toys and will carry around her favorites, as well as bring them to bed with her. A younger person/couple who can play with her would be ideal. She loves when I run down the hall with her and her wand toys! Play time for her is a MUST. She loves when you play with her, but she is also happy to play all by herself (it’s very cute!). She can be shy and warry of new people, but over time she’s become more secure in her foster home. She is learning so much and is a smart girl. She needs to be in an adult only household. Remember, sweet and spicy! She will also need to be on a feeding schedule (meaning food can't be left out all day, she will need am and pm meal times). She will often become over stimulated and bite and scratch. She loves pets as long as you can understand when you need to stop and respect the places she does not like to be touched. She also does not like to be grabbed or picked up. The longer I have her the more trust we build and I am able to carry her if needed, but it’s best to just respect this part of her. She will come for snuggles and to lay in your lap often. Someone who doesn’t work too long of days would also be best for her. She gets upset if I am gone too much (working long days). She loves to sit in windows to watch birds and loves it even more when it’s nice enough outside to open to windows for fresh air. She also loves cat trees and uses the different scratchers. She will need her nails clipped by an experienced cat owner, so over all an experienced owner would be the best match for this sweet girl! She would be the perfect best friend for a younger female looking for a best girlfriend! She has come such a long way from a sick and scared cat, toa loving, happy girl!Animal is Fostered in: Sullivan, WIFor more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.comPlease note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption:MicrochipSpay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed)Heartworm Testing (dogs); FELV/FIV Testing (cats)Age appropriate CORE vaccines. PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.DewormedAll breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam. All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources. Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found! Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.##1989751##

Story

Paula Birthday: September 16th, 2023 Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Domestic Shorthair Traits: Good with adults that have experience with cats, unknown with dogs Fee: $150 . She comes vet checked, spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed! About Me : Paula was found living under a friend of the rescues 4 seasons room. Once we caught her, we quickly realized she was definitely someone's pet at some point as she was very friendly towards other people. No owners ever came forward around that area. Paula is very nice 95% of the time, but sometimes if you over stimulate her she will turn around and nip. We think that someone had her and did not like this about her and put her outside. She was very skinny outside and wasn't doing well and she really does enjoy people, but she is a princess and you gotta follow her rules. She does not like other cats so far while in our care. Paula is very food motivated and treats and food will make her your best friend. We have had 2 vets look at her and one said she is 1 year old, and the other vet said she was under a year old. We understand she is a pretty cat, but she is going to need a very special and understanding home. We want to make sure wherever she goes will follow her rules so this doesn't happen again to her. She will need to go to a home without children or other cats. Probably not dogs either, but we have not had any dogs around Paula yet. Once an application is approved, we will require a meet and greet with her to ensure it is going to be a good fit. If you are interested in adopting, scan the QR code or visit linktr.ee/guttercatadoptions to find our application. You can also email guttercatadoptions@gmail.com with any questions. An online application must be filled out to be considered. June 11, 2024, 9:54 pm
