Breathing Style Trainers (Updated) (2024)

Breathing Style Trainers (Or simply just called as "Trainers"), are interact-able NPCs in Demon Fall that allows you to learn a specific Breathing Style they're proficient with, but in order to learn the breathing technique, they either must do tasks for them or must meet specific requirements to obtain it.

List of Breath Trainers[]

If there are thirteen breathing styles in-game, there are also thirteen known trainers within the game as well and here they are:

Tanjiro Kamado[]

"The child of brightness and the current inheritor of Yoriichi's will, the hanafuda earrings and the Hinokami Kagura ritual dance."

• Can Teach: Sun Breathing
• Location: Coast Forest Beach, sitting on a rocky terrain.
• Requirement(s): Level 50+ and Prestige 1
• Quest(s): None

Sakonji Urokodaki[]

"A former and retired Water Pillar, now a Water Breathing cultivator; Teacher of Tanjiro, Giyu, Sabito and Makomo."

• Can Teach: Water Breathing
• Location: Coast Forest, somewhere atop of a hill next to a campfire and his own hut
• Requirement(s): 2K Yen
• Quest(s):
  1. Pay Urokodaki 2K Yen
  2. Complete the water obby
  3. Defeat a giant boulder

Obanai Iguro[]

"The strict and unforgiving Serpent Pillar, a harsh man with no deep concern to those who does not abide by the Corps' rules."

• Can Teach: Serpent Breathing
• Location: White Peak, above the frozen lake standing at the right ledge
• Requirement(s): 20K Yen and Demon Collar
• Quest(s):
  1. Defeat the Axe Demon and obtain its collar
  2. Pay Iguro 20K Yen

Shinobu Kocho[]

"The serene and graceful Insect Pillar, underneath that "friendly" facade of her's, is a poisonous fit of anger and vengeance towards the filthy demons, all suppressed by a gentle smile."

• Can Teach: Insect Breathing
• Location: Slayer Corps Inn, sitting on the roof
• Requirement(s): 10K Yen
• Quest(s): Pay Shinobu 10K Yen

Michikatsu "Kokushibo" Tsugikuni[]

"The only known user of Moon Breathing. He was once was a Demon Slayer, now an Upper Moon Demon who holds the position of Rank 1; Abandoned his humanity for the desire of immense power, hoping to surpass his younger brother. How selfish."

• Can Teach: Moon Breathing
• Location: Frosty Forest, atop of a mountain near the Green Demon cave and Moai statue
• Requirement(s): Must be a Hybrid and Level 50+
• Quest(s): None

Kyojuro Rengoku[]

"The mentor of Mitsuri Kanroji and the loud and eccentric Flame Pillar, who has a high sense of duty and justice. Set your heart ablaze and go beyond your limits."

• Can Teach: Flame Breathing
• Location: Top of White Peak
• Requirement(s): Demon Collar and 20 Demon Horns
• Quest(s):
  1. Kill 20 Demons and deliver their horns to Rengoku
  2. Kill the Axe Demon and obtain its collar and bring it to Rengoku

Mitsuri Kanroji[]

"The passionate and jovial Love Pillar, it is said that her body composition is abnormally denser than average despite looking so thin, making her absolutely stronger than normal humans."

• Can Teach: Love Breathing
• Location: White Peak, at the right side of the frozen lake, therefore she's next to Obanai
• Requirement(s): 20K Yen and Demon Collar
• Quest(s):
  1. Defeat the Axe Demon and get its collar
  2. Pay Mitsuri 20K Yen

Jigoro "Kujima" Kuwajima[]

"A former and retired "Rumbling" Pillar, now a Thunder Breathing cultivator; he is the teacher of both Zenitsu Agatsuma and Kaigaku."

• Can Teach: Thunder Breathing
• Location: Southeast Coast Forest, inside a hut with a single wisteria tree besides it
• Requirement(s): 20 Soups and 4K Yen
• Quest(s):
  1. Bring 20 Soups to Kujima
  2. Deliver a letter to Marrone
  3. Pay Kujima 4K Yen

Tengen Uzui[]

"A former ninja and the Sound Pillar, he is also known as the "God of Festivals"; the man who stood equal ground against Gyutaro, delivering the most flashiest sword fight ever."

• Can Teach: Sound Breathing
• Location: Slayer Corps, sitting at the backyard near Jako's hut
• Requirement(s): 3 Perfect Crystals
• Quest(s):
  1. Find Uzui's wives, Hinatsuru, Suma and Makio
  2. Give Tengen 3 Perfect Crystals

Gyomei Himejima[]

"The tall and bulky Stone Pillar, blind but has an incredible sense of hearing and said to be the strongest pillar among his comrades. Though despite his hulking and terrifying appearance, he's actually a pious gentle giant, and would easily cry over the most insignificant things. Not to mention he loves cats."

• Can Teach: Stone Breathing
• Location: Fall's Bridge, near the unnamed village at Okuyia Bridge
• Requirement(s): 20K Yen, 50 Demon Horns
• Quest(s):
  1. Farm for Yen & Demon Horns
  2. Return to Gyoumei with 20K Yen and 50 Demon Horns

Grimm Lotus[]

"A former Wind Pillar and the current leader of the Lotus Clan, his past is unknown but all we know is that he despises demons so much and a leader of his own clan."

• Can Teach: Wind Breathing
• Location: Okuyia Village, at his own dojo
• Requirement(s): 20 Demon Horns
• Quest(s):
  1. Kill 20 Demons and retrieve their horns to Grimm
  2. Defeat Grimm in a sparring match

Inosuke Hashibira[]

"The brash and reckless Demon Slayer who created his own breathing style, Beast Breathing. It is said that he was raised in the mountains by boars, hence the feral-like instincts."

• Can Teach: Beast Breathing
• Location: Corps Grove, atop of a rock mountain behind the small village
• Requirement(s): 1 Green Horn, 1 Blue Horn and 100 Meats
• Quest(s):
  1. Obtain the Green & Blue Horn and hand it over to Inosuke
  2. Give him 100 pieces of regular meat

Muichiro Tokito[]

"The last Tsugikuni descendant; A quiet and air-headed Mist Pillar, who became a Hashira in a span of two months at a very young age."

• Can Teach: Mist Breathing
• Location: Frosty Forest, behind a large rock and next to a tent somewhere in the eastern side of the snowy environment
• Requirement(s): 2K Yen
• Quest(s):
  1. Pay Tokito 2K Yen
  2. Find Tokito in the mist maze (No time limit)
